MSG Julian Jones Sr.
Memorial Scholarship
In honor of the exemplary service and dedication of MSG Julian C. Jones, a Memorial Scholarship has
been established to commemorate his legacy. Born on August 26, 1982, in Collin County, Texas, MSG
Jones enlisted in the US Army on January 10, 2006, and completed his AIT at Fort Stewart, GA on August
2, 2006. Throughout his military career, MSG Jones served with distinction, first with the 24th Med in Ft.
Stewart, GA, and later as a Recruiter in Dallas, Texas.
On September 12, 2016, MSG Julian Jones was assigned to Charlie Company, 82nd Brigade Support
Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, where he served as a Treatment Platoon
Sergeant and Medical Support Operations NCOIC. As a devoted Jumpmaster, MSG Jones always
prioritized the well-being of others and exemplified professionalism, humility, friendship, and devotion
in all his endeavors.
His numerous decorations, including the Army Commendation Medal (6 OLC), Army Achievement Medal
(5 OLC), and Expert Field Medical Badge, reflect his outstanding service and commitment to his country.
MSG Jones is survived by his loving family, including his wife Crystal Jones, his children Anala, Julian Jr,
Joseph, and Jeremiah, his stepchildren Keyanna and Brandin, and his parents Rickey Jones and Maria
Rendon.
The annual Memorial Scholarship in honor of MSG Julian Jones will be awarded each July to deserving
individuals who embody the values and dedication exemplified by MSG Jones during his military service.
This scholarship aims to support and recognize individuals who demonstrate a commitment to service,
professionalism, and selflessness, reflecting the legacy of MSG Julian C. Jones.
